IP & Network Info v1.0.0

Web & scraping ip-checker 3 actions MCP

Report this machine's hostname and local IP address(es) instantly, and its public-facing IP (plus rough geo/ISP info when the lookup service offers it) over the network, with a clear offline error if there is no connection.

The omniscient:// link needs a protocol handler on your machine, which is not built yet. Until then it does nothing — use the commands below.

Actions

Jump to: local_ippublic_ipinfo

Local IP

local_ip

This machine's hostname and local network IP address(es) - stdlib socket only, works fully offline.

Public IP

public_ip

This machine's public-facing IP address (and extra fields like city/region/org when the responding service provides them), fetched from a public echo/info service.

Full network info

Local IP info (always present) plus public IP info (best-effort - a failed lookup is reported in public_error rather than failing the whole action, so this still works offline).

Outputs

NameTypeNotes
hostname string
local_ips json
primary_ip string
public json
