Mass File Copy v1.0.0

Files & backup mass-file-copy 2 actions MCP

Copy a batch of files into a destination folder, or fan them out across several destinations at once (duplicated to every folder, or spread round-robin). Files are always copied, never moved, and every run can be previewed as a dry-run first.

The omniscient:// link needs a protocol handler on your machine, which is not built yet. Until then it does nothing — use the commands below.

Use it

Copy to one folder

Command line

shell
python app.py --action copy_to --params '{"dest": "D:/path/to/dest"}'

# preview first - destructive action, nothing is changed:
python app.py --action copy_to --params '{"dest": "D:/path/to/dest"}' --dry-run

Run from the app’s own folder. Single quotes work in bash and PowerShell; in cmd.exe use double quotes and escape the inner ones.

MCP tool

mcp
