Screen Recorder v1.0.0

Clipboard & system screen-recorder 2 actions MCP

Record the Windows desktop, or a precise pixel region of it, to an MP4 via ffmpeg's gdigrab capture - bounded duration, no background threads to forget to stop.

The omniscient:// link needs a protocol handler on your machine, which is not built yet. Until then it does nothing — use the commands below.

Record the desktop

Command line

shell
python app.py --action record --params '{"duration_seconds": 1.0}'

Run from the app’s own folder. Single quotes work in bash and PowerShell; in cmd.exe use double quotes and escape the inner ones.

MCP tool

mcp
run_action("screen-recorder", "record", {"duration_seconds": 1.0})

Workflow node
