Video Stacker v1.0.0

Video & audio video-stacker 2 actions MCP Custom UI

The full Video Stacker 1.35b studio: stack multiple clips into one composite along the X or Y axis, with a stack-count slider, a stack-same-file-multiple-times mode, an alternating mirror effect, blur intensity with padding-blur (plus an invert-padding mode), a live 1000x1000 preview, and a threaded folder queue with per-file status and a progress bar. Rendering runs through ffmpeg instead of the legacy moviepy/ImageMagick export.

The omniscient:// link needs a protocol handler on your machine, which is not built yet. Until then it does nothing — use the commands below.

Stack videos

stack

Stack the given video files into one composite along the chosen axis, honouring the same mirror-effect and padding-blur options the GUI exposes.

axis enum optional, default Y XY
mirror_effect bool optional, default false
blur_intensity int optional, default 0

Stack a folder

stack_folder

Process every video in a folder the way the legacy threaded queue did: for each clip, build a stack of 'stack_count' clips (wrapping through the folder, or the same file repeated with stack_same_file) and export one composite per input video.

Inputs

NameTypeRequired / defaultValues and notes
folder path required
stack_count int optional, default 3
axis enum optional, default Y XY
stack_same_file bool optional, default false
mirror_effect bool optional, default false

invert_padding bool optional, default false
threads int optional, default 1
out_folder path optional, default ""

Outputs

Use it

Stack videos

Command line

shell
python app.py --action stack --params '{"videos": ["D:/path/to/a", "D:/path/to/b"]}'

Run from the app’s own folder. Single quotes work in bash and PowerShell; in cmd.exe use double quotes and escape the inner ones.

MCP tool

mcp
run_action("video-stacker", "stack", {"videos": ["D:/path/to/a", "D:/path/to/b"]})
